On Thursday, January 3, a bank security guard heroically intervened and prevented a robbery in Coronado, San José, Costa Rica; he managed to shoot and kill three men on his own.
The guard saw the moment one of the men attacked a woman who had just gotten out of a car and was walking towards the bank to make a deposit. Judiciary Investigative Police (OIJ) confirmed that the men had targeted the victim, who apparently owns a business in the area and was carrying close to $50,000.00 in cash.
The three men were identified as Carlos Roberto Quesada Ramírez, age 46, Daniel Quesada Fuentes, 21-years-old and Jessie Quesada Fuentes, age 29; a father and his two sons.
